"Week 4: Silence"

Week 4 was all about silence, what it is, how it is portrayed etc. I struggled with this week; so I decided to go with a more abstract interpretation.

Entries One And Two

For the first two entries, I decided to mess around with inbuilt filters on an art program I use. I wanted to highlight how organized and messy sound and silence can be.

Entries Three And Four

For entries three and four I wanted to explore how 'noisy' silence can be; you can hear each individual sound even if the 'silence' may be deafening.

Entries Five And Six

For the last two entries, I wanted to explore the abstraction of muffled sound/silence; its meaning is up for interpretation however I wanted the foreground objects to capture how 'muffling' sound distorts it.
